Something Smells at the Fawnskin Chamber

Okay since we can’t go back into another “Toilet T-Issue” of the Fawnskin Flyer, all I have to say is that last night’s meeting of the Fawnskin Chamber stunk. Although I got to the meeting a little late due to unexpected delays down-the-hill, I still go to partake in the banter followed by some tasty treats while getting the low down on the Big Bear Regional Water Agency. Thanks to Steve, Shari and Joe for their time and talent!

During the tour that followed, some chamber members were temporarily overcome by the stench in one location of the plant. However the good news is that the breeze picked up and we got to enjoy the wildlife inhabitants along with getting interesting behind the scenes information. In other non-news, the rumor mill seems to be going strong. Let me just set the record straight—if I have something to say to you, I will. Who knows it might even show up in the Fawskin Flyer so stop the heresay business because it is inaccurate and untrue. It isn’t interesting enough to put in the Tall Tale section but other stuff is…like people insisting the hawk soaring over head being mistaken for the Fawnskin Air Force. That is just plain silly. They are just the forestry service spotters. 😉

Fine Dining in Fawnskin
For those of you who miss the fine dining experience in Fawnskin, I am happy to report that Bear Creek Nut & Coffee is now offering FABulous dinners once a week. You need to make reservations for Saturday’s sumptuous selections so stop by or give them a holler. They have been doing special event dinners on Sundays so don’t forget to inquiry about that possibility if you have a distinctive occasion down the road.

Wiki-Up Mystery Disclosed
