Luau in Fawnskin

The luau festivities included food and both good and not-so-hot singing by locals. Sheesh! However, there was a lot of laughter and most people dressed the part and came into support the fundraising effort by the Women of the Moose. Even Dorese couldn’t resist and broke out in a hula.

Lowel, age 5, had the biggest fish tale. He caught his first fish ever–16.5 inches. The family had it for lunch to celebrate just before the luau.

The town was quiet on Sunday but we noticed more action in Fawn Memorial Park. Two large posts went up. The tables haven’t arrived yet but maybe they will get here before the memorial for David Gonzales scheduled for October.

Also, don’t forget that the troutfest is coming up on October 8th & 9th.
