Fawnskin’s Lucky Dog

This am I dropped by to see Snickers and the gang. Many of you know this little dog who was abandoned by her owners here in Fawnskin. She was rescued by Ed (aka the Dog Man) and then had a litter of ten puppies. Who Ed raised and placed in homes around the valley–and Sacramento!

Snicker’s previous owner, rendered homeless, promised to take her back but in the end did not. Anyway, the bad news was that over a week ago Snickers was taken to the animal shelter. However, there is good news. The rumors are true–she is back but only temporarily.

When Ed returned from his trip, he contacted the shelter and arranged to adopt Snickers. He paid to have her fixed and now she cannot have any more pups. Snickers will head down to the BARK rescue center in the near future. Ed has arranged (and also paid) for her placement with the group until they find her a new home.

I got a big greeting from her and one of her pups this am. So, I am glad this story had a good ending.
