Friends of Fawnskin & Fawnskin Dieter Update

You might have noticed the work going on down by the Cluster Pines project. This am I chatted with a couple who are members of the Friends of Fawnskin for an update. They said that the trucks are engaged in clean-up and correction of damage done in that area. The ruling has not been made so the work is not related to building the project. However, sources say if the judge rules in favor of the Friends of Fawnskin it will set a huge precident and is anticipated to affect projects across the nation.

Amazing how this little town manages to get into some big stuff.

On the note of “big” –remember the Dunkin’ Donuts? Our Fawnskin dieter gave up on the bet before the call date. I just forgot to give you the goods. Anyway, he did lose a bunch of weight but not enough to hit his target goal by November 1 and so he is out $20 and who knows what else.

The am the CHP set up a speed monitor in town and I am happy to see it.

Finally, the first adult eagle was seen (about a week and a half ago) perched above Windy Point–so keep your eyes open!
