Big Bear Team 2085 MS Walk Fundraising Begins

Greetings all! I was up late working on my book and am dragging a little this am. I wanted to let you all know that tonight is the first fundraising effort for Team 2085. The Moose Lodge in Fawnskin is holding a dinner and baked goods auction to raise funds for the 2006 MS Walk. Most of you know that the Moose Team raised $54,000 in 2005 at their first attempt. This year they want to raise at least $100,000. If you want to sign up for the walk online go to the Big Bear MS Walk page now. If you want to pledge now just visit the link I put up over the right. Just enter “Team 2085” when you do.

I had a couple of complaints about a generator that has been running in town. I have not heard it myself but from the description it appears to be at the small dwelling where the tenants are being evicted. Yes, you can call code enforcement if it is bothering you.

Don’t forget that tonight is the Serenity Place reception in Big Bear City. The fabulous gallery is owned by Fawnskin residents. (Of course!) Did you know that we are the artisian mecca of the valley?

I promised to drop by the lodge forgetting that I was going to the reception. So, I encourage you all to support both efforts as well.

See you later?
