From Correspondent Rick

Participants in last Thursday’s efforts to clean up the cinders (normally a CALTRANS task) were: The Murphys, the Houghs, the Crocketts, Art Voltz, Steve Cawsey and “the guys” from Fire Station 49, Captain John, Andy-dude, Jim McGrew, Chris Weber, and the Fawnskin Flyers newly assigned “Humble Correspondent,” Rick Fromm.

Just a reminder that on Tuesday, May 16, NSIA will celebrate with it’s annual Garden Party to prepare the Post Office garden and the planter at the triangle. All are welcome to come and volunteer…HC give me a time!

Here are some snaps:

Todd, Art, Dave Hough (in front of Jim McGrew) & Dave Crockett clean up their act. Hey! You look marvelous in orange!

Kathy Murphy (looking fashionable) strikes a pose with Kathy Hough.

Chris (aka Queen of the Fawnskin Garden Club) caught tackling a bunch of dirty cinders.

KAT: FYI go to Butcher’s Block and ask for Jo-Jo (Joe West) he has a contractor’s license and does odd jobs…try evenings.
