Tree Down

When I returned home last night I discovered that the last old bark beetle tree had been removed. You all probably have heard about the tree removal going on around the valley. Originally, it was thought that Gray’s Landing would be closed but another option had been found. Neighbor Karin reported that her tree was removed quickly the other day. She was disappointed that she didn’t get to witness the removal.

In other news, I heard Dean’s voice on the radio today. So it seems that Fawnskin is keeping KBHR busy with advertising!

Last night I spent some time with Jim, the new owner of Bear Valley Pet & Animal Supply. He helped me construct a playpen for puppies on their lot. Today I staked the bottom so little tykes won’t escape. The first puppy club starts this weekend. It is free of charge (donations accepted). Let your pals know about the club since the store will give all participant pup parents 10% off of any purchases from 10am until Noon on the day of the session. Pretty good deal, pooped puppies and discounted product (except food).

Don’t forget about the party for Doris this Saturday! I’ll head over just as soon as I am done with my puppy party animals…see you there.
