Neighborhood Watch…Out
Be on the alert as there has allegedly been a wave of burglaries around town. Not having street lights probably adds to the problem as the cloak of darkness helps conceal activity. Please report any suspicious activity or persons immediately.

Bad Boys
The local hoodlums apparently landed in juvenile hall after an altercation where they beat up another youth. They have a few more days of house arrest.

Birthday Bash
The North Shore Café is closed today as Chef Richard is celebrating his big 50! Many locals will be celebrating with him—HB2U Richard!

Torrential Rain?
Although we didn’t get much at my house, yesterday it rained “cats & dogs” in Big Bear City and this am it was pretty wet on my morning amble. Get out and get those weeds before they really go crazy.

BTW: The Post Office garden looks marvelous…all you NSIA volunteers do a great job. Thanks for the beautification in town.
