Fawnskin Passports

Okay, the Fawnskin Passports will arrive sometime later this week and are ready for sale to support the NSIA Honorary Mayor’s Race. I’ll post additonal details later.

I noticed the sign is down on Amangela’s…I hope this is because a real sign is going up and not for complications from the county…we don’t need another incapacitated business due to red tape.

Yesterday I spent the day in Lake Arrowhead enjoying the view from the perch at Del Lago’s. Funny how we don’t seem to have to many businesses that allow a nice lake view. Anyway, I caught up with another writer buddy and enjoyed the view. The Arrowhead Queen was packed with visitors every hour and their pumpkin patch and Octoberfest had the whole place bustling.

On Saturday, I braved a trip down the hill to join fellow animal behavior consultant turned shrink, Dr Larry Lachman and pals for a feast and visit. He moved up to Monterey some time ago and announced that he would be returning to southern California with a couple of years. I pitched a cooperative idea to him but he said he is not really doing much animal work anymore.

I got a return call from mayor candidate Gene Cyr but have not been in town to interview him. I’ll get you the scoop on his campaign shortly. In the meantime, visit http://www.bigbearpolitics.com to see some serious political stuff.
