Nesting Weather

Yippee! Our first real snowfall of the season…oh, drat…I have to shovel my way out.

Isn’t that the way it goes sometimes, you are excited about something and then the reality hits you. Anyway, I hope you all enjoy the day. I love snow storms and the first day after when I can get out hiking in the fresh stuff. I am more excited about it when I don’t have to travel!

Today is the first time in ages that I don’t have to go out. My project editor sent the second pass page proofs for my book overnight and I have to peruse them again for any corrections and get them in tomorrow. Sheesh, people who live in the city don’t realize some of the limitations of living in a rural community. So, I have to call with all my comments or fax them over.

I’ll save my comments for her…but the book publishing industry falls under the mantra, “Things that make you go, hmmm.”

Anyway, stay warm, stoke the fire and have a great Sunday. To all the Moose Lodge members scheduled to go down the hill for the Legion meeting–drive safe.
