Moon Camp, House Keeper, and Other Scuttlebutt

Moon Camp
You may have seen the “No Trespassing” signs and the caution barrier tape over at the Moon Camp location just East of town. Yes, it is true that the development is moving forward. I thought I saw survey lines (nope) and that the electric company was out last week so I wonder if they were taking a closer look.

The word is that Tim Wood met with representatives of the Friends of Fawnskin regarding their special concerns and requests. Tim is a full time resident of Fawnskin and lives in my FAVORITE house.

On another note, Tim has picked youth activities as his special interest area for the valley. I’ll keep you posted when I get more details

Sick Days
Two local residents are currently having challenges with health Mary Lou is down in the desert and Dave is down at Kaiser. If you can help out Bob or Sue please extend the invitation.

Mardi Gras Fun

Last night we meandered down to the Moose Lodge for Mardi Gras…the shrimp creole was great as was the King’s cake. Wayne got the piece with the baby in his piece of King Cake…but the only privledge he gets is to buy the cake next year! The lodge also had live music and during breaks the boom box played zydeco.

Super Bowl Party
If you want to watch the game on the HUGE screen at the Moose Lodge drop by before the game at 3pm. It is bound to be a great party with all the rowdy football fans around here.

Fawnskin Not Full of It?

Word has it that we are too full of crap…which is true if you hear some of the stories around here. Anyway, BBARWA needs the valley to generate more…BTW if you think I make this stuff up you are sorely mistaken.

Fawnskin Business
I heard some scuttlebutt about the market yesterday but have not talked to Mark yet. Calls to him and Amangela’s are on my list.

Housekeeper Wanted

I got an email from a new resident who is looking for a housekeeper. Don’t know the details but you all can comment below to hook up.
