Big Bear MS Walk
The following is from our Fawnskin Flyer field correspondant (with some editorial comment on this end):
The influence of Moose Lodge 2085 can never be under estimated. In the midst of inclement weather, in the form of snow showers, the sun broke through to shine on the Big Bear MS Walk.
An estimated 600 people participated. Many did not tromp through the entire course and some of the canine companions reported sore paws BUT a great time was had by everyone.
One participant reported, “The day was just terrific. That the Moose can schedule sun, blue skies, and crisp air between storms is truly a gift.”
Fawnskin resident and Woman of the Moose, Emily Parker was given an award for all of her extensive efforts.
Final figures will take some time to gather but Fawnskin was well represented and thanks to the Moose Lodge for the great after party.
