Fawnskin Celebrates Easter

One of the things I love about living here in Fawnskin is the unique flair not found in most places. I remember living in down the hill where any variation was frowned upon. Here, individuality is appreciated–and if not–it is at least tolerated!

I stopped by Tom’s house and took some snaps. Most people wonder who he is and why he decorates for every holiday. The couple were not home but I hope to interview them sometime soon. I heard he works in the movie industry–but I’ll let you know for sure in the future.

Anyway, most of us enjoy his decor and tourists often stop to snap photos to take the memory home with them. Nice job guys!

Fawnskin hosts a stunning Easter sunrise service–the only one in the valley on the lake. The event will take place at Captain John’s Fawn Harbor and “Taste of Bear” will be dishing up a pancake breakfast following the service. I am sorry that I’ll be missing this year’s event but I’ll be thinking about you all as I meander my way down to the Haute Dog Easter Parade and festival.

In case you have not heard, I’ll be heading out for my first events of the book tour tomorrow. These won’t be too taxing as I am the guest at the Olvera Street Blessing of the Animals and snapping photos at the Haute Dog Easter Parade. I planned the events some time back but won’t be signing until my first local event–I hope you will show up to support the local events in droves–get my latest schedule here.

If you are not local you can purchase Blessing of the Animals (ISBN 1402729677) via the link to your right or get a signed copy of Blessing of the Animals by clicking here.

The surprise–read the acknowledgments…
