Happy 4th of July
Happy Fourth of July!
Locals throughout the valley are concerned over the excessive heat and the fire danger. The discussions are disquieting.
Many locations around the southland have canceled their fireworks displays due to the fire danger. We are still having one anyway–right? Yikes!
Does anyone besides me have a problem with the forestry service allowing fires in the fire pits at the campgrounds? How about the sale of charcoal and firewood to tourists at the local stores when the signs say NO to the use of charcoal or firewood?
Let’s just hope we get some rain and don’t have to evacuate anytime soon…and make sure you get an evacuation plan together.

Looks like the Big Bear Grizzly isn’t into the Independence Day spirit. See below for their latest attempt NOT to distribute information about Big Bear.

Hmm, no links–guess we will be next on the list. But hey the Fawnskin Flyer even was threatened with a lawsuit…which was why I published the First Amendment Issue!
