Fawnskin’s Old Fashioned Picnic

Above: Despite intermittent rain showers, Fawnskin’s full and part-time residents ventured out for the annual picnic.

Miss Hermit has been hunkered down working this weekend so thanks to my beloved correspondent Rick for the photos from the North Shore Improvement’s Annual Old Fashioned Picnic.

Above: Damn Good Question is a local band that remains a favorite. Despite my working commitments–I am above the lake and the marina–so I enjoyed the music along with everyone else.

Above: part-time resident Shirley Jones joined the festivities and is caught red handed in the egg toss competition.

Above: Special thanks to Lou and Rick and Moose Lodge 2085 for cooking up a storm ( that’s a joke) and for the hamburgers and hot dogs but mostly for the Moose Lodge’s continued community support.

I did join my HM (handsome man) for dinner at Moose Lodge 2085. We figured most people were at the picnic and wanted to support Dave Emig at his fabulous lasagna dinner. Since I am on a restricted fare these days, I just drooled over the table as everyone cooed over the fixin’s.
