Touring California: San Diego Crystal Bowl Concert

I am out of Fawnskin again and swamped as usual. So, I thought I would fill you in with another day trip you might enjoy. Here are a few snaps from San Diego with my pal, Elivia. Elivia is a world renowned sound healer and crystal bowl expert/musician.

Above: Me and Elivia!

We met when I left Big Bear for a few years and moved to San Diego County. This trip was for a special concert in the college area of San Diego. I loved the art work on the house and in the garden–all of it was done by the owners–who used to be ocean side dwellers like I was before moving to the mountains.

Above: The wood and stone work–a tribute to the waves and air currents.

Above: The whole exterior of the home is a work in progress.

Above: The garden is also a work of art. The new puppy destroyed the pond but you can see the mermaid fountain waiting for the time the little tyke grows up.

Above: Elivia getting ready to work her magic.

Above: Scott plays the didgeridoo.

Above: Elivia Playing her Crystal Vibrations Ensemble.

Above: Harp and Imbarimbas.

Above: A shot of the Crystal Vibrations collection–I lost count on how many crystal bowls Elivia has–in excess of 30. At one concert we had over a 100!

Above: I was around when Elivia got her first crystal bowl–pictured here. Also you can see the gong, drums, and harp.

I always love when people follow their passion. It isn’t always easy. Elivia has performed twice in Big Bear and many of you probably attended. Our favorite was the one outside in the ring of trees.

Elivia has produced four CDs which you can find around the nation–you can also listen to samples online. Check them out:
