Over the Side Near Fawnskin
You probably already heard that one of the forestry trucks took a dump over the side on the Arctic Circle. The vehicle went down several hundred feet. Reports are that seven guys were in the vehicle plus a driver.
I heard that two were airlifted and that the others were transported to the hospital via vehicles.
So, highway 18 down the front way (through Running Springs) is temporarily closed to traffic both ways. Speculation is that it should be opened again sometime this afternoon.
