Gypsy & Other Notes

Randy and his crew from Predators in Action were recently in town socializing their newest lion cub, Gypsy. Here are a few snaps taken of the tyke at 11 weeks of age. If you look closely you can see how feisty she got.

Wild cats get possessive of toys and once amped up, tend to be a little rough no matter what their age. At one point she decided that my leg might be good to use like a tree trunk–starting to climb–but responded quickly to “easy” and “leave it.”

Like all good youngsters–she finally tired herself out and went to sleep right on the floor. Just a reminder, wild animals do not make good pets and this little gal is going to be working as an animal actor.

Next Weekend
I am taking a couple of days off and probably won’t be posting again until Tuesday. In the meantime, next weekend seems like it is going to be a busy one.
