Thanks for stopping by Randi. The local bookstores sell your book--I have not seen the newest one. Hope you will send both for review and a give-away contest! And, yes--if you want to contribute regularly I'd love to have you do so.

HI Fawnskin,

Not quite sure who you are nor what FAwnskin is, but if you need any help baking and cooking at high altitude, I have some great recipes and tips in my books:
Baking at High Altitude
&
Sharing Mountain Recipes.

I am considered a high altitude foodie, but have absolutely no training in an institution. My training comes from pure mountain experience and the desire for good foods. Many of my recipes originated in Grandmom's kitchens back East.
30 years of trial and errors experienced from a desire for GRandmoms' coffeecakes or soups are what taught me the basics of high altitude cooking and baking.

Quick tips, allow all to cook/bake a little longer, add a tad more flour and liquid to baked goods, and more liquid to brothy soups or roasts whereby you desire BROWN GRAVY, not just "au ju".

If you have any questions let me know I will my best to help.
