Plane Down Near Butler Peak in Fawnskin

You know when I don’t take my camera there is always something going on. So when I saw multiple agencies gathering the Fire Station 49 this morning as I headed to the Fawnskin Post Office–I knew I blew it again.

A small plane went down near Butler Peak. The area is closed to traffic at the moment as Search & Rescue is beginning to search. I don’t have any official details at the moment but rescue personnel are staging at the triangle in front of Fire Station 49. You can read more at the So Cal Mountains website.
