February NSIA Potluck

The North Shore Improvement Association’s February Pot Luck will be held on Monday, February 9, 2009 at 6:00PM at the Old Schoolhouse at Miller Park.

The speak will be Jim Applebury of Abacus and will answer any questions you might have on the webcam installation that the NSIA is planning for our town.

At the moment the idea of having it center on the Triangle in front of the Fire Department is being considered but no site has been approved yet.

Bring a dish to share!

    To whom it may concern,

I think a webcam is not such a good idea. Mainly because at the triangle the cam will be facing, I would assume towards the main drag of Fawnskin, hello our children catch the bus in front of the Gold Pan. Any nutjob, child predator will have complete access as to what time our children arrive at the bus stop and what direction they may head home. Don’t you think that would make an easy target of our young innocent children!, Please think about this before deciding on the cam, I for one do not want to have my child put on display for anyone to watch!

@CountryFawns: You need to contact the NSIA directly by attending the potluck to voice your opinion. I think a webcam isn’t the best idea either–instead I’d like to see the street lights back on. A couple of years ago they were turned off which has caused a variety of challenges–including wildlife corridors through town due to the cloak of darkness.
