Moon Light Snow Shoe Adventure

This Friday evening is another trek across the snow under the moon light…but I wonder if there is enough snow!

Along the trails a naturalist guide will share everything you need to know about getting started snowshoeing as you plod through the forest (approximately 1.5 miles) you’ll learn about winter ecology, how Big Bear’s wildlife adapts to cooler temperatures and you will also learn a little about the natural history of the mountains.

This tour is suitable for both beginners and experienced enthusiasts alike. Following the hike join Chef Thomas Bicanic at the Bistro where you will choose from his delightful Friday evening “comfort” food menu of pastas, salads and burgers.

Reservations are required and space is limited.
Meet on Friday, February 6, 2008 at the Knickerbocker Mansion located on 869 Knickerbocker Avenue in Big Bear Lake, California.
Cost is $35 per person the event runs from 5:00pm – 7:30 pm.

Due to the weather situation (maybe this next storm will bring snow) please call to confirm 909.382.2790 .
