Lost Dogs Amber Alert Service

There are a lot of lost dogs that get reported in this area. One of my neighbors is seen regularly searching for his dogs in his blue vehicle–now there is a service that has been around for about a year to help locate dogs in areas surrounding a zip code you can enter.

The Dog Amber Alert™ allows anyone around the USA to look for missing dogs or stolen dogs via an alert ticker system. This free service was developed to assist in the location of your missing pooch and was launched on May 1st 2008.

The group plans to develop a system for the UK and France and eventually for other major cities around the globe.
