Thai New Year Celebration

In case you missed it, Fawnskin celebrated the Thai New Year at the Wat Dhammasujitto Telawada Buddhist Temple on Sunday.
The crowd was lighter than usual but people traveled from all over Southern California to participate in the intimate event.
Abbott Ajahn Sombat Wancsaame always welcomes the neighborhood and I was honored with a small role in the ceremony.
Most of the ceremonies occupy the bulk of the day with a break for lunch so that people can nourish their bodies too.
