Two New Fawnskin Businesses Open

Although I discovered this on Friday, I’ve been a bit busy.

You may have noticed that two businesses opened up over the last week in Fawnskin.

The Turquoise Tee Pee is now open on 39214 North Shore Drive in Fawnskin and is owned by Timothy Mckinnon. I didn’t make if over yet–but the place sells jewelry and gifts.

Over at the old North Shore Tavern they seem to be having an identity crisis–one side of the temporary banner says, “Chad’s Beach Club” while the other says, “North Shore Tavern.”

They served up brunch on Sunday and a few neighbors were joking about how nice it will be to have a biker bar in town.

*sigh*

Those of us nearby are hoping for the best.

I didn’t see any changes to the Fictitious Business but the North Shore Tavern banner advertises Big Bear Cabins and Coupons which is the joint venture of Richard Keppler and JP Montero.

So while other business have gone out of business–we have two new ones open in Fawnskin.

BTW: While we were at the fundraiser yesterday, I spoke with Eric of Get the Burger. He says things are moving right along and they expect to be open in another week or so.

Also the Golden Grill in Running Springs opened last week.

Yeah for Get The Burger! We saw the new location when we were last up and that is a perfect location for them.

Also here’s a shout out to North Shore Trading Company and their new partner Big Bear Paddling. On Memorial Day weekend, they got my son and I into a last minute rental and always give us great customer service.

Nice to have such a good customer experience in the valley.
