Rabies Clinic Comes to Big Bear

On September 24, 2009 from 6pm until 7pm your pet can receive a rabies shot at Meadow Park, located off Park and Eureka in Big Bear Lake.

The reduced rate for rabies vaccination is $6 and must be paid in cash only.

Licenses are $15 for spayed/neutered dogs, $9 for pets whose people are Seniors and $96 if the animal is not altered. This fee can also be paid on site by cash or a check.

Any dogs must be on a leash during the scheduled clinics. Do not bring dogs in heat–and absolutely no aggressive dogs.

Cats may also be vaccinated, but must be brought in a carrier to avoid problems.

Pet vaccinations will only be given if:

  • Dogs are on leashes strong enough to safely control them.
  • Pet owners can safely control their animals, including holding their pet for the vaccination(s).
  • Adults hold their animals at all times.
  • Cats are in a carrier – Only one cat per carrier.
