Big Bear Fishing Report

Big Bear Fishing Report by Alan Sharp

High winds and cold temperatures put the big chill on TroutFest 2009 but even so 1000 anglers put a small dent in all the fish that were planted for the event on Saturday.

By Sunday morning the wind chill was 30 degrees and half the anglers stayed under the covers.

Water temperatures and oxygen levels are near perfect and will hold for the rest of the season and trout fishing will be great for the weeks to come.

Big Ber Marina will be open for rentals into November weather permitting. Call us at 909-866-3218 for weather and fishing updates.

This is the last Fish Report of the season. Tight lines and good fishing to you and yours!!
