Fawnskin’s Holiday Party

Although the turn out for the NSIA monthly potluck and holiday party was light–it was full of frivolity as usual.

Festive food was shared and I am happy to say that my pie went fast. This is very rewarding and a good strategy since I can have a piece and get the rest out of the house quickly and easily!

The gift exchange was pretty tame.

Lots of bottled wine circulated but it was Andi Ruppert who lost her gifts twice. I don’t think she drinks much coffee and she lost both a Starbucks gift card and pound of freshly roasted coffee–the snowman candle lit decoration she ended up with was right up her alley.

I have to confess that GG was one of the ones who swiped one of her goodies–Phil (who has lived in Fawnskin since May) actually roasts organic coffee as a hobby.

It was worth it, although I am a dark roast girl, I really enjoyed the Peruvian blend I brewed this am.

Fawnskin’s finest (firemen) showed up, had time to eat and to accept $1500 from the NSIA for night vision goggles before they had to dash off on a call.

Todd always laments that he works for peanuts. Better watch what you say around here because he was given a bunch of peanuts so he would keep on working hard for Fawnskin for the next year or so.

Paid in full in advance! LOL

It was a fun night that quickly passed. Attendees had the place cleaned up and I was home by about 7:30pm.

Yes, another wild night in Fawnskin.
