Gone But Not Forgotten
It seems like I’ve been grieving a lot of things lately. The loss of some special people seems to have been way to common over the last couple of years.
So, for those of you who asked, you can send cards to Doris Layne‘s family at the following address:
John Layne & Family
47414 Autumn Leaf Road
Newberry Springs, CA 92365
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, please send donations to the American Caner Society in the name of Doris Layne.
Doris Layne was a long time resident of Fawnskin and the former owner of the Fawnskin Market for something like 30 years or so.
This weekend is also the life celebration for Ron Gentili (link is to photo slide show):
Sunday, March 28, 2010 at 3:00pm at the UCLA Conference Center (A reception will follow the service.)
850 Willow Creek Road
Lake Arrowhead,, CA 92352
(909) 337-2478
To contact the Gentili family:
P.O. Box 2832
Running Springs CA 92382

What happened to Mr. Gentili? I think I knew him. He lived in Running Springs and was a contractor or did concrete counters?
Thanks for the info.

He was a talented concrete artist and died from pancreatic cancer.
