Nine Degrees in Fawnskin

fawnskin weather So, when I woke up this am it was about nine degrees–and that was after the sun was up so it probably was colder earlier.

Yikes!

I’ve been sequestered inside all weekend except for briefly emerging to visit with my neighbor so I don’t have much to report but it did seem unusually quiet for a holiday weekend.

As promised, here is the news for the 12th Annual Fawnskin Christmas Tree Lighting:

The tree lighting will take place on Saturday, December 4th, 2010 at Fire station 96.

Events will begin at 2:00pm when kids can come and make decorations for the tree and there will be chili dogs, desserts and other refreshments.

As usual, there will be entertainment (4:00pm until 6:00PM) which includes an appearance by Santa & Mrs Claus who are scheduled to arrive at 4:30pm to distribute gifts for the kids.

The actual tree lighting will take place at 5:30pm.

Short and sweet…
