Crazy Contractors Etc., | GG’s TOT

According to one participating local, the shoreline clean-up was a big success followed by a tasty BBQ.

One thing about Fawnskin Folks, everyone loves to socialize and snack together.

Here at the Grotto, GG had a contractor working in the neighborhood behave badly and threaten her.

What the heck is wrong with people who come into a quiet neighborhood and behave badly?

Personally, I think that as guests working in the area, they need to adhere to the laws in relation to the volume of the music, sticking to legal working hours, and confining dogs that they bring on the job.

But the upside? The Sheriff Deputies are always a pleasure to meet. GG probably should find another way to meet good looking men though.

Meanwhile, out on the party perch I had an amazing day in the hammock watching a white-headed woodpecker coach a fledgling and feed it above my head.

Cliff swallows, finches, acorn woodpeckers, flickers were keeping me amused.

It was odd that a vulture kept circling by but it must be a good place since he decided to come back with two pals.

This is why I take breaks midday–always something wild happening.

What made me smile today was the kayaker who was out on the lake that was being trailed by a flock of mallards.

Not sure why but they followed her across Grout Bay and was sad that I didn’t have my camera to snap a shot!

Okay, enough of that for now…this weekend will be another busy one here in Fawnskin.
