AAUW Nuts for Tech Trek | Fawnskin Flyer

American Association of University Women Nuts
American Association of University Women is selling a bunch of nuts…not humans but the best and freshest nuts around. This is part of the annual fundraiser for their Tech Trek program. Tech Trek is a science and math camp designed to develop interest, excitement, and self-confidence in young women who will enter eighth grade in the fall.

Tech Trek features hands-on activities in math, science, and related fields. All sleeping, eating, instructional, and recreational facilities are located on a university campus where camps are held. GG didn’t get enough last year and can vouch for the goodness of the nuts and the project.

  • raw, whole almonds at $6/lb.
  • raw pecan halves at $11/lb.
  • raw walnut halves at $8/lb.
  • roasted and salted whole cashews at $9/lb.
  • roasted and salted, mixed nuts (no peanuts) at $8/lb.
  • roasted and salted, natural pistachios in shell at $8/lb.

Orders can be placed through the month of October at North Shore Trading Company (next to the Post Office), or by calling (909) 866-3414, or by emailing Janet Dooley attwodooleys@mac.com. All nuts will be ready for pick up the first week in November so you’ll have them in plenty of time for holiday baking or holiday gifting.
