Snow Day in Fawnskin

Fawnskin Sky

GG had a PJ day. When I woke up early this morning, it was clear but when I checked out the window after 5:00am it had clouded over and shortly began to spit snow.

Now, the wind is howling and the temperature is dropping. In the past hour or so it has dropped two degrees and the word is that temperatures will plummet to single digits and perhaps hit the negative.

Now GG doesn’t mind the snow but the cold wind tends to make it a bit miserable to be outside.

For southern California it is harsh but in other parts of the nation, well–we are lucky.

Nestled inside when the wind is blowing is a good option and I decided to stay in as I did all errands yesterday.

It was my first non-medical, non-supply trip in almost six weeks.

Although I am again trending up, the doctor has ordered more tests.

Here at GG’s Grotto I already brought in wood and turned on the heat in preparation.

This gal has been around the block!

The upstairs tends to stay pretty warm since heat rises but I can feel the cold and anticipate that tonight I’ll be glad to have both a feather bed and feather comforter–my plan is to burrow.

I already reminded you about the potluck…so just this:
