Kicking off the event will be a dog show, but not the serious kind.

Awards will be given for categories such as best dressed, owner dog look alike, smallest, largest and best trained.

There will be a few vendors, food booths and entertainment and many hope for the apple pie contest.

Kona Hawaii

Hawaiian Link

You might remember that a few locals keep jumping over to the Hawaiian islands.

GG was tormented earlier this week when the latest neighbors sent a snap of their view on the island of Kona.

The secret is that another one of the neighbors bought a place on the island and rent it out just like some of these folks.

Glad to have my pals checking it out but they have not been sending regular updates because they are too busy enjoying the walks on the beach, soaking up sun poolside and other activities.

The picture was sent in response to my email praising them for using restraint and NOT sending me photos.

*sigh*

GG is grumpy and needs a vacation, however I’ll probably take a trip up the coast instead of being an island hopper like PM Mike, Deb & Mike or Char & Rick.

Have a great weekend, I should be at the Doo Dah and if so, I will see you there!
