Celebrate Jewish New Year in Fawnskin

Congregation B’nai Big Bear cordially invites all Fawnskin residents to welcome in the Jewish New Year 5774/2013 with prayer, reflection and a delicious meal.

  • Erev Rosh Hashanah services are Wednesday, September 4, at 6:00 pm with a traditional holiday dinner immediately following the service.
  • Rosh Hashanah services continue on Thursday, September 5, at 10:00 am followed by a potluck lunch.
  • Tashlich service will be at 3:30 pm at North Shore Landing (west of Fawnskin, one mile north of the dam).
  • Erev Yom Kippur Kol Nidre services are Friday, September 13, at 7:30 pm and continue on Wednesday, September 14, at 10:00 am
  • Ne’ilah services are at 5 :00 pm followed by a dairy and vegetarian breakfast.

All services, except Tashlich, will be held at Miller Park, 1178 Chickasaw, Fawnskin and conducted by Cantor Les Kushner.

Donation for all services, including dinner, is $50 for members and $150 for nonmembers. Become a member and receive the lower rate. No one is denied participation for financial reasons.
