GG Leaves the Party Perch

If you have not heard, GG has to leave the party perch, I spoke with my landlord last night and am sending the formal notice in the next day or two.

Although it saddens me, I am hopeful that after treatment I will return to my former self and being able to enjoy a full life once again.

At this time I have no idea where I will land but at last we anticipate that we have identified why I’ve been so sick for so long.

Hard to believe it took eight years of testing to get to the bottom of the mysterious illness that raised its head annually…it appears to have been due to mold , which makes sense if you remember the water intrusion in 2005 since it impacted the entire town.

I’ve been busy looking for options, have begun clearing out belongings, and will begin packing in November.

For the time being, I will be staying locally in the valley.

However, until I meet with my doctors in a few weeks, I won’t have a clear picture of what the future looks like.

In the meantime, I’ve enjoyed the brisk winter weather and am looking forward to joining my family for my aunt’s 90th birthday celebration at the end of the week.

Because I have not been out and about too much, there isn’t much for me to report–other than the party perch has been quiet.

Despite the feeders being full, the birds have been scarce.

I see the birds of prey actively hunting on the lake but my feathered friends seem to have moved to another location.

Locally, home owners have been clearing and cleaning around town.

The high winds stripped the last of the fall leaves off the trees and it is likely we are finally heading into winter.

But, like I always say, don’t hold your breath…

Anyway, mold is serious stuff, just watch this presentation by Dr Andrew Campbell (not Andy here in Fawnskin lol)

Thanks yes, lots of tears but looking forward to being fully functional again and recovering since it has been about eight years since we began testing to see what could be wrong. Appreciate your input and I’ll be deciding what to do with the FF in the near future.
