Fawnskin residents showed up to support Fawnskin author, Diana L Guerrero last weekend at the Serenity Place Gallery in Big Bear Lake, California. Guerrero will be at two more events over Memorial Day weekend–the Book & Bean on Saturday from Noon until 4pm and at Edelweiss Books from 1pm until 4pm on Sunday.

The lovely Serenity Place Gallery is the business and artistic effort of two Fawnskin residents–Cindy and Louis. Below are a few photos inside the gallery just before the event took place.

Serenity Place is my favorite gallery and each book event has sold out all of Blessing of the Animals–they had to reorder again!

Serenity Place–preview of next artist’s work

Just a reminder that tonight is the Fawnskin Festival Spaghetti Feed. The dinner begins at 4pm and runs until 8pm and will be held at Moose Lodge 2085. I have classes I am teaching tonight but will try and stop by before heading out.

Tomorrow night at the Discovery Center is the general meeting of the Fawnskin Chamber. I was not given any time but you can check with the Discovery Center or drop by Fawnskin Realty or the Post Office for specifics.

Aaaarrr, I be in New York for this yar’s pirate faire but I hope ye all will attend the celebration on June 2nd & 3rd.

Did the Grizzly really say that nothing happens around here? (Remember the bus story?) Maybe they ignored the fact that our own Captain John will be hosting the Pirate Faire at Fawn Harbor again this year.
